» Caribbean Airlines History
Caribbean Airlines's predecessor BWIA pioneered many of the Caribbean destinations that are now familiar names on the schedule of other carriers. BWIA pioneered air routes between the Caribbean islands and many of the region?s links with the wider world. Island after island, BWIA built foundations of a modern tourist industry. It acted as parent or midwife to many of the other carriers that entered Caribbean aviation in later years. Caribbean Airlines is fully comitted to continue their legacy and expand it further.
