| Mustique Airways History |
Initial Mustique Airways operations were conducted between the mainland of St. Vincent, and the Grenadine islands. Gradually the airline's route structure grew to include virtually the entire Eastern Caribbean. An office and check-in counter were established in Barbados to accommodate an escalating number of daily flights at the Grantley Adams airport. These flights carried a growing numbers of travelers, who were in need of a frequent and reliable air service to the Grenadines.
In 1981, Capt. Jonathan Palmer, formerly with the airline Tropic Air and his wife Marnie, joined Mr. Michel Seydoux and continued the expansion of Mustique Airways. Jonathan, an experienced pilot, continues to successfully develop Mustique Airways into a vibrant company, which has earned an excellent reputation for efficiency and also " the very best" in personalized service. A modern maintenance "service center" has been constructed at the ET Joshua airport in St. Vincent, this facility is now regarded as one of the finest of it's type in the Eastern Caribbean |
