Aruba's modern International Queen Beatrix Airport is one of the busiest airports of the Caribbean region. In the year 2000, it had a total of 38 thousand aircraft movements with more than 2 million passengers. The new airport terminal consists of three separate terminal buildings connected at the airside by the holding rooms, arrival corridor, ramp offices and working spaces.
