San Andros International airport is located on the Island of Andros it is service by westernair, Bahamasair, Lynx(from Fort Lauderdale) and other small twin engine charter planes that run between the islands. Andros is a very nice quite place for tourist they come to bonefishing enjoy the ecosystem and do many outdoor things they won't be able to do in the united states.
The airport now has Av Gas and Jet A Available from westernair as of November 2006. Westernair also has one of the best FBO's in the country the newly built Western Executive Jet Center soon to be open- is state of the art Center with big screen TV aexecutive style bathrooms, conference rooms, pilot louges, passenger area, Deli, VIP lounge and many other things that will leave you feeling as if you're in heaven. They also have a maintenace hanger for there airplanes and executive airplanes and a domestice terminal for domestic flights also state of the art built.
